From Texture on Ceramic to The Glassware

The studio develops glassware through a layered design process — starting with ceramic texture studies, followed by 3D scanning, CNC mold production and industrial spinning techniques.
This method bridges craftsmanship and industrial manufacturing while maintaining surface integrity.

Prestige Project, Voilà

Designed for Bonna Porcelain's Bocuse d’Or Platinium Sponsorship 2025, Lyon

Voila – Iconic Collector Plate is a porcelain design created as a stage for gastronomy — timeless, elegant, and modern. Inspired by the toque blanche of chefs, its characteristic form highlights the artistry of food presentation and gives each dish the space to shine.

Designed for the Bocuse d’Or International Gastronomy Competition 2025 in Lyon, Voila was developed by Merve Karamete and produced in collaboration with Bonna Porcelain. The project reflects a passion for design and the ambition to merge tradition with modernity, while also showcasing how creative ideas can be transformed into professional production. Rather than aiming to be monumental, this Iconic Collector Plate stands as a symbol of thoughtful design, collaboration, and the shared celebration of gastronomy on one of the world’s most respected stages.
